Primary: Warrnambool State 1952-3; Red Cliffs Central 1954-9;Solway State 1959

Secondary: Scotch College 1960-5. Represented school in Swimming, Water Polo, Cricket, Football, Rowing and Athletics. Took leading roles in school dramatic and musical productions. Member of school Orchestra, Choir, Military Band and various ensembles.

TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS:

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

1969-83 Taught in various capacities at Monash High School; Warragul Technical School; Marist-Sion College, Warragul; Cobram High School.

1984-6 Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School.

1987-9 Scotch College (Coached Basketball to Years 7-10, assisted with Water Polo)

1989-90 The Loomis Chaffee School, Windsor, Connecticut, USA - on exchange. Assistant Varsity Water Polo & Swimming Coach.

1990-95 Scotch College. Appointed Master in Charge of Water Polo. (Until then Scotch College had never won a premiership in the 25 year history of the competition.)

 

In recent years, every State Water Polo Team has had a disproportionately strong representation from Scotch.

As well as the normal Water Polo programme, Scotch has conducted two Water Polo 'World Tours':

1993: Bedford and Oundle in the UK; Loomis Chaffee, Northfield-Mt Hermon, Exeter in New England; Punahou in Hawaii.

1995: Bedford, Oundle, City of London in the UK; Loomis Chaffee in Connecticut; Bellarmine and Villa Park in California.

1962- played trumpet and tuba in jazz and dance bands. Numerous TV appearances and several records.

1996 Nominated for Vice-President of Victorian Water Polo Incorporated , with view to fostering better communications between Clubs and Schools.

Manager Victorian U/17 Boys Water Polo team for National Champs in Perth.

Chair of ITC Review Committee

May, 1996 started up G&S Water Polo Supplies, now G&S Sports Supplies.
